Particles, Tracers and Voronoi Fractures
The Joys of Adding Generated Mesh by Way of Simulations

One of the avenues I really enjoy exploring in 3D is how to utilize generative tools to create some really cool mesh and effects within Cinema4D. Although the real masters of this domain reside somewhere inside the walls of Houdini, C4D is no slouch in being able to visualize some really cool interactions built around generative approaches. Some of my favorite ways of going about this include using Voronoi objects connected to Matrix Objects, utilizing Thinking Particles and Tracer Objects as well as working within Mosplines, Fields and Effectors. It all makes for an infinite amount of combinations in creating really unique visual treatments that would be quite difficult to acheive through standard modeling or illustration practices.
