Hello! My name is Aaron Schurman and I am a multi-disciplinary designer who has almost 30 years of experience in the business working with some of the most visible brands out there. I have evolved throughout my career to tackle a wide variety of disciplines in the process. I was originally trained as a graphic designer, worked in Web and New Media Design, dabbled in Branding, shifted gears towards timelines and became an expert in Motion Design, Animation and 3D Design. I left the Midwest and joined a design firm in Los Angeles as a Broadcast Motion Designer, then transitioned to tech where I worked for Apple on delivering 3D Animated Motion Graphics loops for in-store displays, finally shifting to Google/YouTube to explore the world of UI/UX Motion Design where I owned and built Motion and Audio Brands for mobile applications like G+, Hangouts and YouTube Kids. I design, animate, illustrate, build 3D, conceptualize interactions and craft sound brands. Individual Contributer to Creative Direction, I love it all.
