Study of Line, Shading and Style
With much of my Illustration, I am trying a lot of new things. I am very good at copying styles of other Illustrators, but I am experimenting with my own. The back and forth shows up in a variety of ways like how much to shade, how loose to make everything, how much detail is enough, what colors work. In Illustration, there's not often a lot of wrong answers, but I am still working through what the right ones look like. This was a fun study on some playful landscapes with a really stripped down styling.
